Nick Glass 2014 Four Star Safety
Nick Glass is currently committed to The University of Georgia. He went to the University of Alabama's first Junior Day 2 weekends ago. He really enjoyed his visit to Tuscaloosa. Fortunately, I was able to have a live phone interiew with him tonight, and obtain new information on Nick.
Question One: Recruiting in today's world is obviously huge. Social media like Twitter, text messaging, etc. makes it even bigger. What is it like to recieve this type of attention on a daily basis?
Glass' Response: It is a blessing, and I try to not get too caught up in it. I stay focused.
Question Two: How much do you monitor websites like Rivals, ESPN, and 24/7 Sports?
Glass's Response: I look sometimes when a new ranking has come out. I look at a blog or two every now and then.
Question Three: How was the University of Alabama visit? What was it like? Who was your favorite coach?
Glass' Response: I loved everything about Bama, the town, the coaches, the state, the tradition. My favorite coach was probably Coach Kirby Smart.
Question Four: What is your favorite part about playing safety?
Glass' Response: I get to see what a lt of people cannot see. I am able to get a lot of free shots because of my position.
ANALYSIS: After watching his highlight film, I expect to see him do well. I expect to see him skyrocket in the rankings. The amount of stars that he has does not truly mark the level of his talent. I firmly believe that he will have another star added before this is all over. Glass is very good about breaking on the ball He sees the ball very well to be coming out of high school. He tackles very well in the open spaces, and makes dominant plays in the trenches when needed. He could be an outstanding player on UA's team in years to come.
