5 Reasons Why Alabama will Beat Texas A&M In The Rematch

On November 10th 2012, Nick Saban's #1 ranked 9-0 Alabama Crimson Tide had been handed their first lose of the season to Johnny Manziel's 7-2 Texas A&M Aggies 29-24.

In the first half of that game Texas A&M dominated.A&M ran all over Alabama in the first quater of the game,A&M took off to a 20-0 lead. Alabama would respond with 14 points in the second quater,while the aggies were shutout that quater.Going into half Nick Saban & Kirby Smart had limited time to prepare their defense from a explosive A&M offense.Alabama's defense would hold Manziel & the A&M offense too a total of 9 points in the 2nd half.Saban & Smart did their job preventing another explosive half from A&M's offense.Alabama's offense struggled with a late pick in the 4th quater and some questionable play calling.Alabama would lose that game and it would be thier only lose of the year. Alabama would later go on to win the SEC & National Championship Game.

1) TIME TOO PERPARE...Alabama has had a whole season too prepare for Texas A&M.Nick Saban and the rest of the staff/team now know what to expect from manziel and the A&M offense.Alabama should have no problem stopping texas A&M

2) VALUABLE VETERANS...Texas A&M has a lot of skilled players on their team you can't downplay that. What the Aggies lost last season should not be overlooked,Ryan Swope was A&M's most dependable reciever on the team.Damontre Moore was the most disruptive player on the defense he lead the tean in tackles (119) and sacks (5.5). the biggest lost may be Luke Joeckel who protected manziel's blindside all the way to the Heisman. They also lost full safety Steven Terrell and outside linebacker Sean Porter. Senior Safety Floyd Raven & Junior Cornerback Deshazor Everett were suspended from all team activitys after an arrest. they may or may not play in the Alabama game. Alabama has 5 returning starters on offense, 6 on defense and 2 on special teams. all those returning players played a key role in winning the National Championship.These returning veterans bring leadership and tons of talent to the team,something A&M really doesn't have.Now the voice of the team and the biggest star three time National Champion starting QB A.J. mcCarron knows how much this game mean's and he is determined to lead one of the top offenses in the Nation past the aggies and to the glory one last time. On the defensive side of the ball Linebacker C.J. Mosley lead the team in tackles last year with (107) C.J. is now a senior and is one of the best linebackers in the country he is ready to lead the best defense in the Nation past A&M and take them back to the National Championship.

3) FATIGUE... Alabama played LSU the week before the Texas A&M game.That took a lot out of Alabama you could tell how tired they were at the end of the game. Alabama didn't have any time to rest they had to prepare for Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M. This year Alabama has a bye week before they play A&M that gives Alabama time to rest up and heal any minor injuries that a player has. Alabama will be 100% rested before they have to play Texas A&M. The bye week also give's Alabama extra time to adjust thier defense if needed and prepare more for that game.

4) REVENGE GAME... nick saban is 7-1 in revenge games at Alabama his only lose coming to lsu in 2011 he would later beat them 21-0 in the National Championship game. Saban knows a victory sliped out of Alabama's hand's aganist A&M last year he isn't going to let that happen again.

5)PASS RUSHERS... Alabama hasn't had a dominate pass rusher since dont'a hightower and courtney upshaw in 2010. Ever since they left they really havent had a consistant pass rush. Last year they recorded only 35 sacks and went 5 straight games without a sack. When Alabama couldn't get to the QB it would result in the secondary getting burnt on a long pass play. Their has been a lack of a pure edge rusher that can collapse the pocket on a consistant basis. A pass rusher will be needed aganist QB's that like to run like manziel. Expect these 5 players to shine as pass rushers this year and especially in the A&M game. LB Adrian Hubbard, DE Dalvin Tomlinson, DE Jeoffrey Pagan, LB xzavier dickson and LB denzel devall those will be the top 5 pass rushers on the year and look for ryan anderson to rush the passer on 3rd downs. If Alabama can do this they will beat Texas A&M.
